Description

Merging Media was approached in 2006 to design and install audio/video and lighting systems in the church sanctuary and small A/V systems in the school. In 2008 Merging Media was awarded the contract and began installation on school and church. The installation was smooth and without many challenges. The greatest challenge was aiming the Adamson Line-Array in order to keep sound reflection off the back wall while still maintaining appropriate sound coverage. These systems have made a noticeable impact on the students and church attendees making their experiences distinct and more enjoyable. The church staff has received many compliments since their dedication Sunday.

Technology

The School install included 13 Classrooms each equipped with 2 QSC speakers, EV amplification, Shure mixer, Sony DVD Player and Viewsonic projector displaying onto a Da-Lite pull down screen. Some of the classrooms also were equipped with smart boards. The Church Sanctuary was outfitted with a 12 box Adamson Metrix Line-Array powered by Lab Gruppen C series amplfication and an Allen & Heath iLive 56 Input Digital Mixing Console. The Sanctuary also was given 2 Viewsonic 5,000 Lumens Projectors that were displayed onto 2 11'x14' Da-Lite fixed frame screens.
